The heaviest snow is expected this afternoon with another period of heavy snow likely later this evening. Snowfall will taper off overnight, but the wind will steadily increase through the night, leading to blowing and drifting snow. Blizzard conditions may develop as the wind picks up at night, with zero visibility a possibility. Light rain is possible at times, mainly south of Fort Wayne, where snow totals may be slightly reduced.

Storm total snow accumulation: 8-15 inches.
