Thunderstorms may line up along a cold front Wednesday afternoon and evening, with the possibility for heavy downpours and high winds. Things will be much cooler and more fall-like by Thursday and Friday and the weekend.

Warm and humid air will move up from the south into our area on Monday, with scattered showers possibly developing during the daytime hours. Rain will become likely at night as a cold front moves over the area. Some heavy rain is possible with thunderstorms. Lingering showers behind the cold front are still possible on Tuesday. Slightly cooler and calmer conditions are expected over Tuesday and Wednesday.
