A strong storm system will approach the area from the west on Wednesday with a cold front moving through late Wednesday. Thunderstorms are possible along the front and could bring strong wind and flooding rain. There is also the potential for some tornadoes across the region during the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will be cooler behind the front on Thursday and Friday and into this weekend with more fall-like weather expected.

A FEW TORNADOES LIKELY SCATTERED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... REMEMBER...A TORNADO WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR TORNADOES AND SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH AREA.
