...WINTER STORM TO IMPACT THE AREA STARTING LATE TUESDAY NIGHT... A STORM SYSTEM MOVING THROUGH TEXAS THIS AFTERNOON WILL MOVE NORTHEAST THROUGH THE TENNESSEE RIVER VALLEY WEDNESDAY. SNOW WILL EXPAND NORTHWARD THROUGH NORTHERN INDIANA AND INTO NORTHWEST OHIO LATE TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING...AND OVERSPREAD SOUTH CENTRAL LOWER MICHIGAN BY MID TO LATE MORNING WEDNESDAY. THE SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BE MODERATE TO HEAVY AT TIMES ON WEDNESDAY...ESPECIALLY ALONG AND SOUTHEAST OF THE ROUTE 24 CORRIDOR...BEFORE QUICKLY DIMINISHING IN INTENSITY WEDNESDAY NIGHT. IN ADDITION TO THE SNOW...NORTHEAST WINDS WILL INCREASE UP TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS BETWEEN 30 AND 35 MPH...RESULTING IN AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES.
