Weekend Outlook: Relatively warmer with highs near 30 degrees. Another winter storm is headed toward the region, with several inches of snow possible on Sunday; look for updates.

Early next week, it will turn drastically colder. The coldest weather in two decades is likely. Sub-zero temperatures combined with brisk winds will drop wind chills between -30 and -40 at times.

 * TIMING:  WIND CHILLS TO 15 BELOW ZERO LATE THIS EVENING INTO
   FRIDAY MORNING.

 * NORTH WINDS GUSTING TO 20 MPH EARLY EVENING WILL RESULT IN SOME
   BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW. WIND GUSTS WILL DIMINISH AFTER 8 PM
   EST.

IMPACTS...

 * PROLONGED EXPOSURE TO THE VERY COLD CONDITIONS MAY LEAD TO
   FROSTBITE TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING.

 * SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING WILL CONTINUE INTO EARLY EVENING
   MAKING FOR SOME HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.
