Outlook: 2-4 inches of snow is possible on Sunday. Another outbreak of extreme cold is expected during the upcoming week. Record low temperatures are likely, along with dangerously cold wind chills.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON HAZARDOUS WEATHER... * SNOW WILL END FROM WEST TO EAST ACROSS THE AREA THIS MORNING, EXCEPT IN SOUTHERN MICHIGAN AND THE ADJACENT COUNTIES IN NORTHERN INDIANA WHERE LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL LIKELY PERSIST THROUGH THE DAY. TOTAL NEW SNOW ACCUMULATIONS FROM THIS SYSTEM ARE EXPECTED TO BE 2 TO 4 INCHES, EXCEPT A LITTLE HIGHER OVER SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN. * BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WILL CONTINUE TODAY, CAUSING SOME UNPLOWED ROADS TO BE IMPASSABLE. IMPACTS... * TRAVEL WILL BE HAZARDOUS TODAY DUE TO SNOW, BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
